I always love the look of old barns and farm structures.  This was painted in oil from a reference photo that I took when touring in north/west Quebec area of Mont Laurier region.  The area had scattered small farms and villages and the population levels significantly smaller since cottage season was over. Roads were mostly empty except for large trucks carrying cut trees and the occasional local farmer driving into town. I looked over and saw these wonderful buildin standing in the field and jut had to stop and take their photo.
