This was painted from a photo I took of this church when travelling on the "Harry Potter Train/Jacobite Steam Train" in Scotland. I was mesmorized with the stark beauty of the hills and surrounding lochs and lakes along the railway and then up pops this quaint church in the middle of nowhere.  I wondered what people attended services over the years, what rituals of life and death were celebrated / mortalized within the walls of this building.
